Norman High School (4-1) will host Enid High School (2-3) on Thursday.
Coming off its first loss of the season to Jenks High School on Oct. 4, Norman is striving to get back on track this week.
In Norman’s 31-12 loss to Jenks, the brotherly duo, senior quarterback Phoenix Murphy and junior wide receiver Ryder Murphy, have led the way for Norman this season.
Against Jenks, Phoenix Murphy displayed his ability to make plays on the run, and Ryder Murphy once again made contested catches. Phoenix Murphy recorded 83 rushing yards on the night and one touchdown, while Ryder Murphy finished with 106 receiving yards and one touchdown.
In Enid’s 33-32 loss to Mustang High School in its previous game, senior quarterback Aidan Robinson and sophomore cornerback Keon Young contributed greatly.
Guiding the offense, Robinson had over 300 passing yards and two touchdowns. Young had two interceptions that he returned for touchdowns.
Norman will play Enid at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Harve Collins Stadium.
