OU Health’s Student Affairs will host its second annual “Sooner to Sooner” event at 11:30 a.m. April 29. The event is in collaboration with Norman’s Student Affairs and the Office of Admission and Recruitment.

Nyakio Kamoche Grieco, current founder and CEO of Thirteen Lune and Relevant, combines her roots and entrepreneurial vision to curate a more inclusive and diverse beauty industry. With a business plan she created during her time at OU, Grieco launched her first brand: Nyakio.

In 2001, the Henderson Scholars Program was established in honor of George Henderson. Each year, the program welcomes 17 to 20 first-year students into OU’s first living-learning community, a presidential initiative designed to provide access to higher education, cultivate diverse leaders and encourage lifelong service and learning.
