Sooners vs. Oral Roberts men’s tennis, 5 p.m. Friday: The Sooners face the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles at Headington Family Tennis Center. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability. 

JM Stevens, 6 p.m. Friday: Watch singer-songwriter JM Stevens perform live at Midway Grocery & Market in Norman. Tickets can be found online. 

Sooners vs. Alabama women’s gymnastics, 7:30 p.m. Friday: The Sooners face the Alabama Crimson Tide at Lloyd Noble Center. Tickets start at $12 online. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability.

Eli Young Band, 8 p.m. Friday: Watch Eli Young Band bring a Texas rock edge to modern country at Riverwind Casino. Tickets start at $37 online. 

Abbigale Dawn: Saturday Morn at the Roastery, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday: Kick off the weekend with good vibes and music by Abbigale Dawn at Yellow Dog Coffee Company.

Sooners vs. New Mexico men’s tennis, noon Saturday: The Sooners face the New Mexico Lobos at Headington Family Tennis Center. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability. 

Sooners vs. UT Arlington men’s tennis, 4 p.m. Saturday: The Sooners face the UT Arlington Mavericks at Headington Family Tennis Center. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability. 

Sooners vs. Ohio State and Air Force men’s gymnastics, 6 p.m. Saturday: The Sooners face the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Air Force Falcons at McCasland Field House. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability. 

Adult N.I.T.E., 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday: Wander the galleries at Sam Noble Museum of Natural History after dark while enjoying trivia, crafts, a scavenger hunt and more at this 18 and older event. Registration is $40 online.

Norman Mardi Gras Parade, 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday: The parade starts at The Depot, travels north on Main Street to South Crawford Avenue, turns south to East Comanche Street, returns to Jones Avenue and loops around the course a second time. Several downtown businesses will offer extended hours and parade specials.

Have a Heart Paint & Sip, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday: Enjoy a guided painting class, brunch and signature drinks in a cozy atmosphere. The event will be held at The Standard. Tickets start at $20 for students and $36 for adults and are available online. 

Sooners vs. Arizona State wrestling, 2 p.m. Sunday: The Sooners face the Arizona State Sun Devils at McCasland Field House. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability. 

Game Day Watch Party, 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday: Join Main Event Norman for a game day watch party with food, games, activities and good vibes. Tickets start at $42.62 online.

Oklahoma City events

State Jr. High Wrestling Championship, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday: Junior high wrestlers from around the state will compete for the title of best wrestler in Oklahoma at OKC Fair Park. 

Braum's Affair of the Heart, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: Shop local artisans offering everything from food to fashion at OKC Fair Park. Tickets are $13 online and children 12 and under are free. Use code VISIT for $3 off purchase online. Tickets are also available via purchase of $25 of Braum’s Fresh market products, with receipt at entrance. Teachers and school employees will receive half off admission all day Sunday with valid ID. 

First Friday on the Paseo, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday: Browse local artwork, meet artists and enjoy live music during the Paseo Arts District's monthly art walk. Parking is free in the area and surrounding neighborhood.

The New Edition Way Tour, 8 p.m. Friday: Listen to music from New Edition, Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton, in a 360-degree immersive concert experience at Paycom Center. Tickets start at $76.30 online. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 

Tank and the Bangas, 8 p.m. Friday: Listen to R&B and soul from the Grammy winning band, with special guest DJ Zeus at Tower Theatre. Tickets are available online. Doors open at 7 p.m.

OKC Thunder vs. Houston Rockets, 2:30 p.m. Saturday: Watch the Oklahoma City Thunder defend their two-game win streak against the Houston Rockets at Paycom Center. Tickets are available online. 

Future of Sound Sessions, 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday: Experience the collaboration between local musicians and artists as they come together to create a show featuring experimental sounds and works of art at Factory Obscura. Tickets are $15 online. 

Crimewave, 8 p.m. Saturday: Step into the shadows and dance the night away to underground alternative and electronic music at Resonant Head. The event is 18 and up. Tickets are available online. 

Super Bowl LX Watch Party, 4 p.m. Sunday: The Western Club will provide drinks and snacks for a sober place to enjoy the big game and connect with the community.

All Singles Football Watch (or not) Party, 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday: Single adults are invited to watch the Super Bowl and win touchdown prizes at Crossings Community Church. Tickets include pizza, salad, dessert and soft drink, but guests are allowed to bring their own snacks to share. Tickets are $10 online.   

Ongoing events 

Jakian Parks: The Black Land, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Monday until June 1, Oklahoma City: Visit artist Jakian Parks’ latest exhibition exploring the history and cultural legacy of Black equestrian life at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The museum is free to attend.

Red Coyote Run Club, 6 p.m. Thursday, Norman: The Red Coyote Running Club hosts free social runs, a good way to meet new running and walking buddies. The course starts at Red Coyote Running and Fitness on Main Street and loops through OU’s campus.

Trivia Thursdays, 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Norman: Stop by The Standard for free weekly trivia and prizes. 

ArtNow 2025: Materials and Boundaries, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Monday until Feb. 15, Oklahoma City: Explore works by over 25 Oklahoma artists at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The museum is free to attend.

Stories & Specimens, 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Norman: Families are invited to gather for an engaging story time connecting stories to science and cultural history with museum objects that let kids see, touch and discover at Sam Noble Museum of Natural History. 

Sunday Jazz Brunch, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oklahoma City: Listen to live jazz at Tellers while enjoying lemon buttermilk pancakes and other brunch favorites.
