As the school year gets closer, it's time to start gearing up for the semester. From free on-campus experiences to discounted subscriptions, here is a list of student deals to help you get ahead.

Free on-campus resources
The university offers numerous cost-free resources for both students, staff, and faculty. Ranging from learning centers to 3D printers, the university has much for you to explore.
• Student Learning Center
• The university offers free tutoring through the Student Learning Center for over 100 courses in one-to-one or small group settings while also offering supplemental instruction classes to reinforce course content. Students can sign up for tutoring through the center’s website.
• OU Writing Center
• The OU Writing Center, located in Wagner Hall, offers free writing consultations. Appointments can be made on their website.
• OU Food Pantry
• The university hosts the OU Food Pantry as a resource for students offering free food and clothing.
• Located at 331 Cate Center Drive, students and staff can go to the food pantry and fill out a form or order online through the food pantry's Engage page to receive meals.
• OU Career Center
• The Career Center, located on the third floor of the Oklahoma Memorial Union, offers free drop-in professional headshots as well as mock interviews, resume reviews and career advising. Appointments can be made on the Handshake app.
• MakerSpace
• The Bizzell Memorial Library offers a MakerSpace located on the main floor of the library. The MakerSpace houses 3D printing tools, a virtual reality workstation and a 3D scanner.
• The 3D printing tools can be used for personal projects all the way to in-class projects, but requests to use the printer are only to be made in person at the library. All resources in the MakerSpace are available to the OU community.
• Museums
• If you need something to do while you're waiting for the school year to start or have some downtime during the semester, the university offers students, staff and faculty free admission to its two museums, the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art and the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.

Stepping outside of the university, we’ve searched to find you deals on subscriptions, technology and other tools needed to have a successful school year.
• Apple Education Store
• Need a new laptop for homework? The Apple Education Store has you covered, offering discounted Apple products for college students.
• Microsoft
• Microsoft offers student deals with hundreds of dollars in savings on Microsoft Surface laptops.
• Walmart+
• Walmart is offering students 50% off its Walmart+ membership, which comes out to $6.47 a month. The service offers free grocery delivery for orders over $35, free next-day and two-day shipping from its online store and gas savings at Walmart, Murphy, Mobil, and Exxon gas stations.
• Amazon Prime
• Amazon also offers its own student subscription called Prime for Young Adults. It offers the benefits of Amazon Prime, such as free same-day or two-day delivery, access to the Amazon Prime streaming service and a membership to Grubhub+. The subscription starts with a 6-month free trial of Amazon Prime, followed by $7.49 per month.
• UNiDAYS
• UNiDAYS is a student verification platform that companies such as Adidas, Costco and Sephora use to distribute their deals for students.
• Software
• As part of being a student at OU, you also gain access to software such as the Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office, among other more major specific software.
