Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Tuesday that officers recovered a body matching the description of a man suspected of shooting a Cleveland County deputy on Oct. 4.
In a press release, Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the agency alongside the U.S. Marshal's conducted a second grid-search of the area and came across the body believed to be Kameron Jenkins, 25.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued a blue alert and are searching for Kameron Jenkins who is suspected of shooting a Cleveland County deputy in Garvin County on Oct. 4.
On Oct. 4, Jenkins shot Cleveland County Sheriff's Office Deputy Sean Steadman. Jenkins is also suspected of having shot and killed a bystander, Gwaun Freirson. Jenkins had not been since the shooting and a manhunt ensued.
Steadman is listed in stable condition.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued a blue alert on behalf of Cleveland County Oct. 4. Blue alerts are issued when violent criminals have killed, or seriously injured an officer in the line of duty. They are also issued when a suspect poses an imminent and credible threat to law enforcement or when an officer is missing in the line of duty.
12:45 p.m., Tuesday: Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported recovering a body matching the description of Jenkins. The scene was turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to complete its investigation, according to a press release.
12:30 p.m., Friday: The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reissued the blue alert for Jenkins on behalf of the Garvin County Sheriff's Office. If seen, call 911.

2 p.m., Thursday: The Oklahoma City Police Department raised the reward for information leading to Jenkins' capture from $6,000 to $11,000. Anyone with knowledge of Jenkins' location is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300 or online.
10 a.m., Thursday: On Thursday morning, Wynnewood Public Schools reported it will be on a soft lockdown while the search for the shooting suspect continues, according to KOCO.
3:30 p.m., Wednesday: The Cleveland County deputy who was shot was identified as Sean Steadman in a Facebook post by the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office. The office reported that Steadman is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
"Sheriff Chris Amason would like to thank all agencies that were involved and would like to offer his thoughts and prayers to the family of Deputy Steadman, as he starts his road to recovery," the post read.
1:15 p.m., Wednesday: Oklahoma law enforcement is searching for a man suspected of shooting a Cleveland County deputy Wednesday in Garvin County.
According to News on 6, a Cleveland County deputy was shot and another person killed in Garvin County.
KFOR reported the deputy was rushed to OU Medical in Oklahoma City and is listed as stable. The shooting happened along I-35 near Wynnewood.
Davis Public Schools and the Turner Falls area reported that they are going under lockdown.
The suspect, Kameron Jenkins, 25, is considered armed and dangerous and may be in possession of a semi-automatic handgun, according to the alert.
He was described as a black male, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white shirt.
