Yellow Dog Coffee Co.’s drive-thru location will be temporarily closed due to renovations.

The drive-thru stand, located on Alameda Street, will be replacing its vinyl flooring, which requires the removal of heavy equipment, according to operations manager Lilly Braun.

In an email to OU Daily Tuesday, Braun wrote renovations will take a few days.

“Nothing customer-facing will be changed,” Braun wrote. “We’re hoping to be back up and running within the next few days.”

Customers were notified Monday via Instagram posts from both the roastery and drive-thru accounts that the location would be closed due to building improvements.

Yellow Dog Coffee Co., established in 2019, has two locations, a coffee shop and roastery on South Porter Avenue and drive-thru on Alameda Street.

Yellow Dog Coffee Co. drive-thru will reopen Friday at 9 a.m., the shop announced in an Instagram post Thursday.
