Graduate Student Senate committee and general assembly meetings have been canceled Sunday due to the snow and road conditions.

The GSS meets at 7 p.m. every other Sunday in Sarkeys Energy Center, room A235.

Carrie Pavlowsky, Graduate Student Senate chair, said canceling the two GSS meetings was due to both of them taking place back to back.

"Since every senator has to serve on a committee the meetings are back-to-back. If we cancel one, we usually cancel the other,” Pavlowsky said.

Many GSS senators live away from campus and could not make it in, Pavlowsky said. There are tentative plans to reschedule the GSS meeting for next week.

Among the items GSS is planning to discuss are acts to designate polling locations, to establish regulations for the Fall 2014 Special Election and to amend the terms of SGA salary/stipend positions to reflect current elections.
