1. Sooners officially have a new student president and vice president
Student Government Association officially inaugurated their new president and vice president, Kunal Naik and Alex Byron, Wednesday in a ceremony at Oklahoma Memorial Union.

2. How many students are using 'Tapingo' to order food on campus
Since its launch in August, the app that allows students to order food to pick up from campus restaurants has obtained 4,500 registered users. Within the last month, there have been nearly 1,500 active users per week.

3. Why the cost of UPB and CAC's film series has increased
With the cost of making movies increasing, the cost of a free campus film series has increased as well. The Union Programming Board and Campus Activities Council co-sponsor free movies through the Meacham Auditorium Film Series for students and community members, which are shown some Friday nights in Oklahoma Memorial Union's Meacham Auditorium. The average amount per movie has increased from $894.89 in the 2009-10 academic year to $1,053.32 in the 2013-14 academic year, according to the budget.

4. Why there were beards on campus statues
As students braved the cold to get to class on Tuesday after a snow day, many noticed the appearance — and subsequent disappearance — of beards on campus statues. The beards were a move from Lindsey + Asp to raise awareness for Movember, a spin on No-Shave November, when people are encouraged to grow facial hair and throw events to raise awareness for prostate cancer.

5. Who's the squirrels' favorite guy on campus
Vic Hutchison, the former Oklahoma zoology chair and a lively, distinguished member of the OU community, is better known on campus for his unique hobby: he's a squirrel feeder. Students on the South Oval are baffled by the man who, unmoved by the rush of pedestrians, feeds and plays with squirrels.

6. The chances that Bob Stoops might leave OU for Florida
Slim to none.
Sixteen seasons of allegiance hasn’t stopped Bob Stoops’ name from spinning around the coaching carousel, and this time it’s been linked with a familiar name — the Florida Gators. But Stoops remains a Sooner.
“For a lot of years here it’s been the same,” said OU football coach Bob Stoops. “I’m not a candidate for any job and the only job I’m a candidate for is Oklahoma.”

7. Who made OU and NCAA history on Nov. 22
OU freshman running back Samaje Perine set the NCAA record for single-game rushing yards with 427 yards in OU's 44-7 win against the Kansas Jayhawks Saturday, Nov. 22.
