Norman events 

Downtown Norman Ghost Tour, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday: Learn local lore and spooky tales during this guided walking tour starting at the James Garner Statue. Tickets are $17.08 online.

Sooners vs Alabama Crimson Tide volleyball, 7 p.m. Friday: Cheer on the Sooners as they face the Crimson Tide at McCasland Field House.

Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, 8 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: Catch the Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theater’s take on Mel Brooks’ cult classic comedy at Elsie C. Brackett Theatre. Friday’s show is costume night, so dress up in your best costume. Tickets are $12 for students, $39 for adults and $34 for seniors, OU staff and military and are available online.

Curiousiday: Celebrate Oklahoma, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday: Explore hands-on activities celebrating Oklahoma’s natural history, ecosystems and more at Sam Noble Museum of Natural History. The event is free.

House Party Blues at The Standard, 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday: Enjoy free live blues music, food and more at The Standard.

Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony, 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday: Honor local veterans at Norman’s annual parade hosted by City of Norman Parks & Recreation at Reaves Park.

Depot Concerts: Peggy Johnson, 7 p.m. Sunday: Wind down the weekend with a performance by singer-songwriter Peggy Johnson at The Depot. Tickets are $21.75 online.

Oklahoma City events

Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday: Experience orchestral arrangements of Dolly Parton’s hits performed by the Oklahoma City Philharmonic at Civic Center Music Hall. Tickets start at $24 online.

Bikes and Brews Tour, Friday through Sunday: Explore downtown Oklahoma City by bike while sampling craft brews on this guided Ride OKC tour. Riders will visit five local breweries and learn about the city’s history along the way. Tours start at $62 per person and can be scheduled online.

Mistletoe Market '25, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: Get a jump on holiday shopping at the Junior League of Oklahoma City’s annual market at the Bennett Event Center.

ArtNow 2025: Materials and Boundaries, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday: Explore works by over 25 Oklahoma artists at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center

Jakian Parks: The Black Land, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: Explore artist Jakian Parks’ latest exhibition at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The exhibit explores the history and cultural legacy of Black equestrian life. The event is free.

Ditty Bops, 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday: Watch musical duo Ditty Bops perform a story that explores life after service through music, dance and conversation at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. Standard tickets are $25 online.

The Infamous Stringdusters, 7 p.m. Friday: Enjoy bluegrass quintet, The Infamous Stringdusters, at Tower Theatre. Tickets start at $30.62 online and doors open at 7 p.m.

First Friday Gallery Walk, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday: Browse local art galleries, meet artists and enjoy live music during the Paseo Arts District’s monthly art walk. Shops will be open for extended hours during the event.

Bartees Strange, 8 p.m. Friday: See Bartees Strange perform live at the ACM@UCO Live Room. Tickets are $50 online and doors open at 7 p.m.

Bingo @ The Dock!, 7 to 9 p.m. Friday: Stop by Sailor and The Dock for monthly bingo, cocktails and prizes. Cards are $5 or $10 for three.

Fall Festival at Orr Family Farm, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday: Celebrate the season with pumpkin patches, hay rides, games and more at Orr Family Farm. Weekend passes start at $24.95 online.

Myriad in Motion, 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday: Stop by The Devon Lawn at the Myriad Botanical Gardens for a free outdoor yoga class. The class is open to all levels.

OKC Farmers Public Market, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday: Shop local produce, baked goods and handmade items at the OKC Farmers Public Market. 

Art Class: Abstract Acrylic Paint Pour Creations, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday: Learn acrylic pouring techniques at Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The class is 18 and up. Registration is available online for $45.

OCU Homecoming, Friday and Saturday: Celebrate Oklahoma City University’s homecoming with campus festivities and performances. The full schedule of events is available online.

Extreme Holiday Showdown, 5 p.m. Saturday: Watch live horse racing and enjoy seasonal festivities at Remington Park. Before the first Thoroughbred race at 6 p.m., there will be a petting zoo, an appearance from the OKC Ballet, photos with reindeers and Santa who will have commemorative bells for the first 200 visitors, “Furever Home for the Holidays” race featuring adoptable dogs and more. The event is free.

The Band Feel - Into the Sun Tour, 8 p.m. Saturday: Enjoy live music from rock group The Band Feel at Beer City Music Hall. Individual tickets start at $21.09 online and doors open at 7 p.m.

Jackson Tillman - Live in Concert, 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday: Hear country, red-dirt band Jackson Tillman at the release party for their new single, “Nicotine,” at Beam Live. Tickets start at $15 online and doors open at 7 p.m.

OKC Renaissance and Scottish Festival, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: Step back in time with jousting, crafts and performance at OKC Fair Park. Tickets start at $6 for children and $13 for adults online and $16 at the gate. Weekend passes are $25.

Red Coyote Half Marathon, 7:30 a.m. Sunday: Lace up for the Red Coyote Half Marathon starting at Love's Travel Stops Stage and Great Lawn. Registration can be done online.

Move Your ScissorTAIL, 8 to 9 a.m. Sunday: Join Scissortail Park’s walking club for a morning stroll through the downtown green space. Participation is free and open to all ages.

LIVE! on the Plaza: Sunday Funday, 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday: Check out the Plaza District’s monthly block party. Guests who sign up to be a Friend of the Plaza get access to a VIP area and complimentary Anthem Brewing beer.

November Access for All, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday: Visit Oklahoma City Museum of Art with free admission. Ticket reservations can be made online or in person.

Jack The Whipper with Ses Carny, 4 p.m. Sunday: Stop by Bricktown Comedy Club to see circus performer Jack the Whipper and Ses Carny. Tickets are available online starting at $41.29 and doors open at 3 p.m. The show is for guests 13 and older. The venue has a two item minimum per guest policy.
