Involvement Fair

Students participate in the 2024 Involvement Fair during Camp Crimson.

OU’s first ever SovalPalooza will feature local bands, Isa Rose and Baileyboy Saturday.

SovalPalooza, hosted by Camp Crimson in collaboration Campus Activities Council, is an involvement event with student organization tables, food trucks, music, community partners and more on the South Oval from 7 to 9 p.m.

Isa Rose, performing at 7 p.m., is an Oklahoma City-based artist who has released three original songs, Don’t Have Enough, Glamour and Butterflies.

She’s performed at 51st Street Speakeasy, 405 Fest and frequently sings at ACM@OCU Live, as she recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Besides SovalPalooza, Isa Rose has an upcoming performance at OK Air Fest on Sept. 7, an event with extreme sports and aerial exhibitions.

Isa Rose can be found on Instagram and Spotify.

Baileyboy, performing at 8 p.m., is a local alternative rock band with lead singer Bailey Gilbert. Baileyboy performs mostly covers, but they have put out five original songs since 2022.

Performing around the Oklahoma City area at places like Factory Obscura, Bluebonnet Bar and the beloved Norman Music Festival, Baileyboy is a well-known and loved local band.

Their most recent music drop was Congress in January, a hardcore and charged piece featuring heavy drums and guitar, showing their theme of emotional discontent.

Baileyboy can be found on Instagram and Spotify.

SovalPalooza is free to the public.
