Though many are out of town for the holiday, Norman has plenty to offer through Thanksgiving, Black Friday and the holiday weekend.

The Library Bar and Grill: Located on Boyd Street between College and Chautauqua avenues, The Library Bar and Grill serves pizzas, burgers, nachos and features a wide selection of draft beer. The spot is open 365 days a year, including 11 a.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving Day.
The Standard: The beer garden on Gray Street is open on Thanksgiving, serving a variety of burgers, fried chicken dishes and appetizers. The weekly Thursday trivia night will be hosted from 7-10 p.m.
Mr. Hui: The Lindsey Street Chinese restaurant will be open as usual for dine-in and take-out, featuring a selection of stir-fry dishes, shareable plates, soups and beverages.
O’Connell's Irish Pub & Grille: The Campus Corner sports bar plans to open at 4 p.m. as usual on Thursday, with wings, burgers and a wide selection of drinks.
Saltgrass Steakhouse: The steakhouse is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature a turkey plate special. Saltgrass is also offering a family to-go meal, available for pickup. Orders must be placed by 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Cracker Barrel: Located on Interstate Drive, the restaurant is open Thanksgiving day and offers a special holiday menu. A variety of to-go holiday plates are also available for pickup.
Legend's: To-go Thanksgiving meals including roast turkey, honey mustard glazed ham and a selection of sides and desserts are available to be picked up Wednesday from the Lindsey Street restaurant.
Bars: Looking for a drink after spending time with the family? Head over to The Deli on Campus Corner or The Bluebonnet Bar on Main Street, both of which are open 4 p.m. Thanksgiving Day to 2 a.m. Black Friday.
Sooner Bowling Center: The bowling alley on 24th Avenue will be open from 5-11 p.m. and its snack bar will be open. The alley is expecting a busy night and recommends making a reservation.
The Opolis: Though closed Monday through Thursday, the Opolis will close out the holiday weekend with performances Friday by Stinson Fuller, Shafer Wilkerson and Derek Paul. On Saturday, the venue will host a vegan brunch at 10 a.m. and karaoke at 8 p.m.
Norman Twilight Market: On Saturday, the Norman Twilight Market will host its Holidays at the Well and Small Business Saturday at the Well on 210 James Garner Ave., featuring a variety of local vendors from 5-9 p.m.
Cleveland County Fairgrounds: The Cleveland County Christmas Craft Show will be hosted at the fairgrounds on Robinson Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, featuring handmade gifts, local artists and baked goods.
