The Little Event 2023

We are excited to announce that The Big Event will be putting on The Little Event 2023 as a volunteer opportunity for all OU students, staff, and faculty. The Big Event is OU's official day of community service and is a day of thanks every spring where thousands of members of the OU community spend a day volunteering to give back to and make a difference in the community. 

The Little Event is exactly what it sounds like - a scaled-down version of The Big Event that takes place in the fall. Participants will travel to a jobsite such as a school, church, nonprofit, or individual home and help with tasks such as cleaning, painting, organizing, and/or yard work. This year, The Little Event will take place on Saturday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We would love for you to join us and be a part of serving our community together as a university!

Group and volunteer registration are open right now for The Little Event! The deadline to sign up is Friday, September 30 at 11:59 p.m., or until maximum volunteer capacity is reached. Anyone can register to volunteer - you can sign up with a student organization, with a group of friends, or just as an individual! If you would like to create a group to volunteer, one individual from the group must fill out this form: https://www.givepulse.com/event/382614

Once that form has been submitted, the group name will be added to the volunteer registration form. Then, group members will be able to register as volunteers using this form:
