It was senior night at the Lloyd Noble Center, and to celebrate the team’s most experienced athletes, No. 1 Oklahoma (14-1) took care of business with a 198.200-196.900 win over No. 17 Michigan (10-5).
Freshman Lily Pederson had an electric start for her team. With a 9.950 on a stuck vault, she earned herself a new career high score. While no one else achieved the same high as her, Oklahoma took the lead through the first rotation with a team score of 49.325-49.175.

It was the second rotation where OU found its stride. Senior Danielle Sievers led in bars with a 9.925 and a stick to complete her routine. In the second spot, Pederson lost her grip and fell off the bars, but junior Faith Torrez picked up slack by earning a 9.900.
In back-to-back near-perfect routines, fifth-year senior Audrey Davis and senior Jordan Bowers each stuck their landing for a 9.975. With a 49.650 total, the Sooners extended their lead to 98.975-98.350.
“Audrey snapped up the opportunity to spend one more season with the Sooners… she has developed so much since those first days,” said head coach K.J. Kindler after the meet. “She sets the tone for the Sooners on beam and floor. She has a perfect ten on bars… and tonight she got her eight gazillionth 9.975.”

Davis started the balance beam with a 9.900. Freshman Addison Fatta earned a career high 9.925. For the second time in the meet, Bowers competed well for a near-perfect 9.975, and shortly after, Torrez notched the same huge score. After amassing a 49.575 score as a team, Oklahoma headed into the final rotation leading 148.550-147.750.

Emotions were high as the team took up the last event, but despite it being the senior’s last routine in the LNC, every girl showed up to compete their best.
Davis and Sievers led off with a 9.900 and a 9.925, respectively, with Davis running to embrace Sievers after her routine. Two of Oklahoma’s freshmen, Elle Mueller and Fatta, followed with a 9.900 each, and to end the night off, Bowers and Torrez displayed why they’re top three in the nation in floor with a 9.950 and a 9.975. OU closed out the meet with a 49.650 on floor.
“Jordan’s artistry on floor and beam are absolutely breathtaking,” Kindler said. “She brings you on a voyage with you when she steps out onto the floor.”
Oklahoma’s 198.200 total was both a season record high for the Sooners, as well as the highest score for the 2025 season in the NCAA.
