Colorado State junior running back Lloyd Avant has committed to OU.

Avant grew up in Humble, Texas, and was a three-star recruit in the 2024 cycle. He began his collegiate career at Tulsa, where he appeared in all 12 games in 2024 and made one start, carrying the ball 76 times for 271 yards and a touchdown. 

At Colorado State, Avant totaled 946 yards, rushing 90 times for 417 yards and five touchdowns. Avant added 24 receptions for 261 yards and a touchdown and contributed on special teams with 11 returns for 268 yards.

The transfer portal opened on Jan. 2 and will close on Jan. 16.
