Former OU linebacker Brian Bosworth will serve as the guest picker for ESPN’s “College GameDay” ahead of the Sooners’ College Football Playoff matchup against Alabama in Norman.

Bosworth played at OU from 1984 to 1986 and was a two-time All-American. He helped lead the Sooners to a national championship in 1985 and won the first two Butkus Awards, given annually to the nation’s top linebacker, in back-to-back seasons in 1985 and 1986.

“College GameDay” will be live from the South Oval starting at 5 p.m. OU will kick off against Alabama in the first round of the College Football Playoff at 7 p.m. on Friday at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, live on ESPN and ABC.
