Oklahoma has landed transfer quarterback Gavin Frakes, Rivals first reported on Thursday.

Frakes began his career at New Mexico State, before spending 2024 with Virginia. Frakes did not see the field with the Cavaliers and has 736 career passing yards with four touchdowns in 11 games.

Frakes attended Norman North High School and provides additional depth to the quarterback room.
