OU has hired Abigail O'Connor to be associate athletic director for performance nutrition of all sports, according to Doug Samuels of FootballScoop.
O'Connor will be in a newly established role within OU athletics.
O'Connor spent eight years with Michigan, finishing her time in Ann Arbor as director of football performance nutrition. Before Michigan, she served as the assistant director of performance nutrition and primary football dietitian at Minnesota. She's also a certified strength and conditioning coach.
OU athletic director Roger Denny posted on X about the hire.
"The Sooners get better today," Denny wrote. "Abigail O'Connor will help every team and athlete in our program reach their potential."
O'Connor will reunite with new OU deputy athletics director Mark Taurisani, who served as director of football operations at Michigan from 2018-2020.
