OU defeated Georgia Tech 8-7 in the Atlanta Regional winner-take-all final.

OU won its first regional championship since 2022, the year it last made the College World Series. The Sooners will play No. 15 overall seed Kansas (45-16) in the super regional next.

Georgia Tech was fighting for its first regional championship since 2006 and sixth in program history but came up short.

Junior outfielder Drew Burress hit a two-out, two-run homer in the top of the third inning for Georgia Tech.

Junior infielder Camden Johnson crossed home plate, guided by a two-out run batted in from junior outfielder Dasan Harris.

Deiten Lachance facilitates 2-0 Sooner start

Junior catcher Deiten Lachance blasted a two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning to give OU an early lead.
