Former UNLV pitcher LJ Mercurius has committed to Oklahoma, he announced Friday.

As a sophomore in 2025, Mercurius made 11 starts and had a 3.57 earned run average. He also made the All-Mountain West second team.
Mercurius has two years of eligibility remaining and becomes the first pitcher Skip Johnson has picked up in the transfer portal.
