Northern Oklahoma College-Enid guard and NJCAA All-American Ty Lazenby committed to Oklahoma on Friday.

The Glencoe, Oklahoma, native announced his commitment to the Sooners via Twitter.

Lazenby averaged 22.9 PPG, 4.7 RPG and 2.3 APG in junior college last season, earning First-Team All-American honors. The 6-foot-5 guard shot 45 percent from the field and 86 percent at the free-throw line.

The Sooners brought in Lazenby for a two-day visit earlier this week. Lazenby had interest from Charlotte, Penn State and Utah as well.

With Lazenby's commitment, the Sooners fill one of the two roster vacancies left from former players Darrion Strong-Moore and Dante Buford. The Sooners hold one remaining scholarship.
