* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with heat index values up to 113. For the Heat Advisory, heat index
values up to 110 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and northwest Oklahoma.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 9 PM CDT this evening.
For the Heat Advisory, from noon to 9 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Oklahoma men's basketball: Khadeem Lattin to return for senior season

Forward Khadeem Lattin will return for his senior season, per Fanrag Sports' Jon Rothstein.

Lattin applied as an early-entry candidate for the 2017 NBA Draft, but did not sign with an agent, allowing him the chance to return to the Sooners if he chose. Lattin removed his name before the May 24 withdrawal deadline for draft prospects.

The 6-foot-9 center from Houston, Texas, averaged 8.4 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game in his junior season, a career best. Lattin has started 68 consecutive games for the Sooners, including a Final Four run in 2015-16.

Lattin rejoins a big man rotation that includes Jamuni McNeace, Kristian Doolittle and Matt Freeman. As a team, the Sooners are expected to return 10 players from the previous season.
