MIAMI GARDENS, Florida — Oklahoma cornerback Zack Sanchez will forego his senior season and enter the NFL draft. Sanchez made the announcement following the Sooners' Orange Bowl loss to Clemson.

Sanchez entered the game as the Big 12's co-leader in interceptions with seven.

His departure is softened by the youth in the rest of the Sooners' secondary. Every other starter is expected to be back for OU in 2016.
