John Mateer, Taylor Wein, Eddy Pierre-Louis to represent OU football at SEC Media Days

Redshirt senior quarterback John Mateer, redshirt junior defensive lineman Taylor Wein and redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis will represent OU at SEC Media Days.

Mateer recorded 2,885 passing yards last season and 14 touchdowns in the air as the leader of the offense. Wein stood out as a defensive leader, playing in all 13 games and making eight starts. He finished with 39 tackles, including a team-leading 15 for loss, and a team-leading seven sacks. Pierre-Louis played in all 13 games and made six starts at left guard, allowing only one sack on 264 pass-blocking snaps.

SEC Media Days is July 20-23 at the Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott in Tampa, Florida.

OU will speak Monday morning, following Southeastern Conference commissioner Greg Sankey and Missouri.
