Scott, a four-star recruit out of Mobile, Alabama, is ranked No. 11 among safeties in his class and No. 5 overall in his state. He has tallied 217 total tackles and nine interceptions throughout his three-year varsity career at Williamson High School.
Scott is the Sooners’ third commit of the day, following three-star offensive lineman Tyson Ross and fellow Alabamian four-star quarterback Jamison Roberts’ announcements. These commitments come as the Sooners are hosting a “Future Freaks” weekend, an annual recruiting event for juniors.
Scott is the Sooners’ 17th 2027 commit and is another quality addition to OU’s 2027 class, which ranks No. 1 in the nation.
