Bixby (9-2) defeated Norman North (4-8) 59-14 to advance to the 6A-1 playoffs semi-finals.
While Norman North was not able to put things together on offense for a lot of the game, the opposite can be said for Bixby. While forcing four turnovers in the first half -three being interceptions and one being a forced fumble, Bixby was able to jump out to a 31-0 lead.
After a Norman North touchdown to make the game 31-7, Bixby scored 28 unanswered points to finish the game.
Bixby will play Edmond Memorial at 7 p.m. next Friday for a spot in the state championship.
