Norman High School (9-1) won 31-20 against Bixby High School (8-2) on Friday at Bixby Football Stadium.

With the victory, Norman finished the regular season with its best record since 2006. It also handed Bixby its second loss of the year — the first time since 2017 that the Spartans have dropped more than one game in a single season.

Next, Norman faces Westmoore High School (2-8) in the first round of the playoffs with the time and location still to be determined.

Donald burst outside to the right for a 66-yard rushing touchdown.

Phoenix Murphy avoided pressure and delivered a 10-yard pass to junior tight end Crew Noles in the end zone for a touchdown.

Phoenix Murphy connected with senior wide receiver B.J. Randle, who made a spectacular, one-handed catch to complete a 91-yard touchdown.
