Former Oklahoma wide receiver Drake Stoops has been suspended two games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substance policy, the league announced on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Rams’ player is allowed to take part in preseason games and training camp without any restrictions.

He is the son of former long-time head coach Bob Stoops, who coached at Oklahoma from 1999-2016. Stoops walked-on at Oklahoma and earned a scholarship in 2021. After six seasons with the Sooners, he signed to the Rams last April after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.

At OU, Stoops started 31 of the 62 games he appeared in. The wide receiver caught 164 passes for 1,876 yards and 17 touchdowns.
