Class of 2028 quarterback Trey Tagliaferri commits to OU

Class of 2028 quarterback Trey Tagliaferri has committed to OU, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett.

Tagliaferri, a four-star recruit, originally committed to Notre Dame before flipping to the Sooners. He committed to the Fighting Irish on June 25 before decommitting two days ago.

He attends Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey. He threw for over 2,000 passing yards and recorded 29 touchdowns in the air his sophomore season.

Tagliaferri is the Sooners' first commit in the 2028 class.
