Oklahoma starting left guard Cody Ford was injured on the Sooners' opening drive against No. 3 Ohio State.Â
Ford, a redshirt freshman, was injured with 12:22 left in the first quarter on a play where Samaje Perine ran to the Ohio State 11 yard line for a first down.
The Pineville, Louisiana, native was taken off the field in a cart. He was sitting up in the cart. His left leg appeared to be in an air cast.Â
With Ford out, center Jonathan Alvarez slid over to take Ford's place and Erick Wren took over at center.Â
