Sooners vs. Texas A&M Aggies women’s basketball, 6 p.m. Thursday: Watch the Sooners face the Texas A&M Aggies at Lloyd Noble Center. Tickets are available online and are free with OU ID based on availability.
Herbology 101: Magical Plants in Medieval Medicine, 6:15 to 7:30 p.m Friday: Learn new insights about what magic looked like in the medieval world and how magic plants were used in medicine at Norman Public Library East. The event is free to attend with the presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Sooners vs. Iowa State women’s wrestling, 7 p.m. Friday: The Sooners face the Iowa State Cyclones at McCasland Field House. Tickets are available online and are free with OU ID based on availability.
Young Choreographers’ Showcase, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: See the creativity of students from the School of Dance, in collaboration with lighting design students from the Helmerich School of Drama, in their annual showcase at Elsie C. Brackett Theatre. Tickets are available online.
Rocky Kanaga: Saturday Morn at the Roastery, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday: Kick off the weekend with good vibes and music at Yellow Dog Coffee Company.
Sooners vs. Texas Longhorns men’s basketball, 1 p.m. Saturday: Watch the Sooners face the Texas Longhorns at Lloyd Noble Center. Tickets are available online starting at $23.
Sooners vs. Northern Iowa women’s wrestling, 7 p.m. Saturday: The Sooners face the Northern Iowa Panthers at McCasland Field House. Tickets are available online and are free with OU ID based on availability.
OU Boomer Brass Bash–Union Bands, 7 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday: Enjoy a day of brass music with the University of Oklahoma School of Music at Catlett Music Center. Artists Scott Leger and Ryan Gardner will be on campus giving performances and masterclasses.
CJ Field & The Delta Riot, 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday: Catch folk singer CJ Field at The Deli. Tickets can be found online or guests can pay a $5 cover at the door.
Sooners vs. Greenville men’s gymnastics, 2 p.m. Sunday: The Sooners face the Greenville Panthers at McCasland Field House. Admission is free.
Oklahoma City events
Oklahoma City Home + Garden Show, noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: The 44th annual Oklahoma City Home + Garden show returns for a weekend of gardening, contractor booths, remodeling and more at Bennett Event Center. Tickets are $13 online. Kids 12 and under being free, as well as active military, veterans, police, fire and first responders with ID. Teachers and school employees will receive free admission all day Sunday.
No Other Choice, 5:15 and 8:15 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday: A 2025 comedy following a man who has been fired from his job after 25 years and is willing to do whatever it takes to eliminate the competition for the job he wants most. Tango Caliente!, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday: A night of performances from award winning Argentinian dancers and tango. Watch this tribute to romance at Civic Center Music Hall. Tickets start at $24 online.

Viridiana, 5:30 p.m. Saturday: Watch a 1961 Spanish-Mexican surrealist drama following the story of a young maiden who tries to uphold her Catholic ideals but is tested, revealing the limits of idealism. Showing in a 4K restoration at Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Tickets are available online.
The Face on the Barroom Floor and Drinking Songs, 8 p.m. Saturday: An immersive opera experience presented by OK City Opera and OU Opera at OK Cider Co. Tickets are $15 online.
