From furry friends to brunch, check out what there is to do in Norman and Oklahoma City for Mother’s Day weekend.

Norman

Second Friday Norman Art Walk, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday: Presented by the Norman Arts Council, explore art exhibitions and performances from local artists, listen to live music and shop across the Walker Arts District.

Earth, Wind & Fire, 8 p.m. Saturday: Earth, Wind & Fire is performing at Riverwind Casino. Tickets are available online. 

Mother's Day Coffee and Flowers, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday: Morning Flower Coffee Company and Bakery will offer a large drink of choice and a bouquet for $35 and the option to add a baked good for $4 more. 

Mother's Day Brunch, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday: Rally Kitchen + Bar will offer biscuits and gravy, omelets, carved pork loin, pan-seared salmon and country fried steak. For dessert there will be cookies, cakes, pies and an ice cream sundae bar. Reservations are available online. 

Norman Pride Mother's Day Drag Brunch, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday: Hosted by Norman Pride at Victoria’s Pasta Shop with a morning and evening show, the event will feature select Victoria’s favorites along with drag performances including lip-syncing, dancing and comedy routines.

Oklahoma City

LIVE! On the Pawza, 6 to 10 p.m. Friday: Dogs, cats, rats and other critters are invited for a celebration of furry friends at the monthly Plaza District block party. 

Breakfast with the Animals, 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday: Ticket includes admission to the Oklahoma City Zoo, breakfast buffet, animal ambassador presentation and a meet and greet with animal caretakers, as well as animal feeding with either a giraffe, Galapagos tortoise or flamingo. Tickets are available online. 

Celebrate Mom with the Pack, 10 a.m. Saturday: Red Coyote Running and Fitness is hosting a Mother’s Day fun run and walk at its Oklahoma City location with mimosas, shoe demos from Altra and a shoe charm bar.

Mother's Day Gospel Brunch, 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday: Enjoy a brunch buffet and music from the West Villages Shakers at Jones Assembly. Reservations are available online. 

Mother's Day brunch buffet, 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday: Experience a buffet filled with breakfast and lunch favorites, seasonal dishes and dessert at OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark, with mothers receiving a complimentary mimosa. There will also be a complimentary bouquet station and each brunch guest will receive 50% off same-day waterpark passes. Reservations are available online.
