Norman events
The Standard Jazz & Blues Festival, 2 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday: Join The Standard for a weekend of jazz and blues — two days of music, community and springtime vibes. The event is free to attend.
Sooners vs. South Carolina women's tennis, 5 p.m. Friday: Watch the Sooners face the South Carolina Gamecocks at Headington Family Tennis Center. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability.
Nate Smith | Long Live Country Rock and Roll, 7:30 p.m. Friday: See country artist Nate Smith at Riverwind Casino. Tickets can be found online.
Little Birders, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday: Parents and children will learn about Oklahoma’s native birds then head outside to see what birds call the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History grounds home. Binoculars will be provided for use during the program. The program will include an outdoor walk. Registration is available online.
Norman Chocolate Festival, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday: Enjoy thousands of chocolate samples and meet chocolatiers with live demonstrations from more than 30 businesses. The event is held at Loveworks Leadership.
Spring Art & Craft Market, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday: Shop unique art and handmade gifts, jewelry, pottery and more at Healthy Living Norman's Spring Art & Craft Market. This event is free and open to the public at the Norman Adult Wellness & Education Center.
Rocky Kanaga | Saturday Morn at the Roastery, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday: Kick off the weekend with good vibes and music by Rocky Kanaga at Yellow Dog Coffee Co.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday: Join Main Event Norman for breakfast and quality time with the Easter Bunny. There will be photos with the Easter Bunny and family-friendly activities. Tickets can be found online.
Sooners vs. Georgia women's tennis, noon Sunday: Watch the Sooners face the Georgia Bulldogs at Headington Family Tennis Center. Tickets are free with OU ID based on availability.
Oklahoma City events
OKC Thunder vs. Chicago Bulls, 7 p.m. Friday: The OKC Thunder will face the Chicago Bulls at Paycom Center. Tickets are available online.
Fourth Friday Dance - Swingout OKC, 7 to 10 p.m. Friday: Learn Lindy Hop swing dancing with Swingout OKC at Sailor and the Dock. Beginner lessons will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. and a DJ’d dance will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $5.
The Bard at the Bar, 8 p.m. Friday: Drink cider and experience the characters of Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Falstaff with OK City Opera at OK Cider Co. Tickets are available online.
Pop-Up Market, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday: For one-day only, visit the outdoor pop-up market that features vintage goods local shops and makers at the corner of 10th and Hudson.
Wheeler Ferris Wheel: Opening Day Celebration, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday: The Wheeler Ferris Wheel seasonal opening celebration will feature food trucks and live music at Wheeler Ferris Wheel.
The 1945 Experience, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday: Encounter historical figures from Oklahoma City’s past at Castle Falls, listen to live jazz and enjoy themed refreshments. Guests are encouraged to wear their best 1945-era outfits to get a bonus concession ticket and a chance to win the historian award. Tickets are available online.
Harlem Globetrotters, 2 p.m. Saturday: The Harlem Globetrotters, an exhibition basketball team will perform at Paycom Center. Tickets are available online.
Future of Sound Fest 2026, 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday: The release of Mix-Tape Vol. 7 will be celebrated with six live bands, shop the spring artist market and experience art. The Oklahoma Blood Institute will also be in attendance at Factory Obscura: Mix-Tape.
smART Talks: Jonty Hurwitz, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday: Science Museum Oklahoma’s new speaker series, smART talks, will begin with speaker Jonty Hurwitz, who will talk about the science behind his artistic works, at Science Museum Oklahoma. Registration is online.
Tulip Festival, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: The Myriad Botanical Gardens has planted over 100,000 tulips to celebrate their fourth annual Tulip Festival that will feature a market, live music and food trucks at Myriad Botanical Gardens.
OKC Thunder vs. New York Knicks, 6:30 p.m. Sunday: The OKC Thunder will face the New York Kicks at Paycom Center. Tickets are available online.
Ongoing events
Stories & Specimens, 11 a.m. to noon Saturday until May 1, Norman: Families are invited to gather for an engaging program providing museum objects for children to touch, connecting stories to science and cultural history. The experience is free with admission at Sam Noble Museum of Natural History.
Route 66: From Trails to Truck Stops, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday until May 3, Oklahoma City: The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum’s exhibition tells the story of the historic Route 66, which was part of the first federal highway system and became a symbol of freedom and adventure. Tickets are available online.
Jakian Parks: The Black Land, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Monday until June 1, Oklahoma City: Visit artist Jakian Parks’ latest exhibition exploring the history and cultural legacy of Black equestrianism at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The museum is free to attend and tickets are not required.
Sunday Jazz Brunch, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oklahoma City: Listen to live jazz at Tellers while enjoying lemon buttermilk pancakes and other brunch favorites.
