Norman Fire Department responds to fire at The Edge at Norman apartment complex

Fire at The Edge Apartments

Fire fighters work to put out a fire at The Edge Apartments at 2200 Classen Blvd.

UPDATE: The fire started in an apartment's utility closet, where the hot water heater and heating and air conditioning units were, and caused limited damage to the apartment where it originated, according to a Norman Fire Department press release.

However, fire sprinklers in the building caused water damage to two units. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and no injuries were reported, according to the press release.
