Here are two campus events and nine restaurants honoring those who have served in the Armed Forces on Veterans Day Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Campus events to honor veterans
1. Veterans Day Ceremony
OU's Reserve Officers' Training Corps will do the color guard presentation and OU President David Boren will make remarks to honor veterans.
When: 8 a.m.
Where: Parrington Oval Lawn
2. Military Appreciation Cookout
Veterans can get food at a cookout sponsored by the Veteran Support Alliance to show appreciation for those who served in the Armed Forces.
When: Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Robertson Hall lawn
