The Sooner Showcase Career Fair is the largest recruiting event at OU and the ideal place for you to learn about internships and full-time job opportunities. Get an early start for summer and post-graduation employment while networking with the many organizations who will attend! The job and internship fair is free and open to all OU students and alumni. Freshmen and Sophomores are also encouraged to attend.

This event will be held at the Lloyd Noble Center - 2900 S. Jenkins Ave Norman, OK 73072.

BEFORE THE CAREER FAIR:Activate and update your Handshake account for 2026 - 2027 - When you check in at the career fair, a name tag will be printed with the name, major and graduation date on your Handshake account\; therefore, make sure your Handshake account has your correct major and graduation date listed. If you have questions, please call the Career Center at 405-325-1974.Get your resume reviewed at the Career Center and uploaded to your account - Once your resume is ready, upload it to your Handshake account to be included for employers to view prior to the career fair.Research the organizations - Take a close look at the organizations attending who have indicated that they are looking for your major. Remember that many employers will indicate that they are interested in ALL MAJORS - so include these organizations in your research.  Download the event app - Search "Handshake" in your app store or click here.

The Sooner Showcase Career Fair is free and open to OU Students/Alumni ONLY

Dress professionally

Bring copies of your resume to distribute

Park on the south or east side of Lloyd Noble Center and enter where indicated

Parking is free!

Bring your Student ID to check-in and make your name tag (if you have not already done so in the Career Center)

INTERVIEWS THE DAY AFTER THE CAREER FAIR - Some employers may choose to interview candidates they meet at the career fair. You will be notified by the employer if you are chosen for an interview. Interviews will be held in the Oklahoma Memorial Union - Career Center (3rd Floor).

INTERVIEWS LATER IN THE FALL - Many of the employers will return to campus later in the semester to interview for full-time and internship positions in the Oklahoma Memorial Union. They will let you know when they will be back to interview, as well as the last day on which you can apply. These on-campus interviews will be listed in your Handshake account. To apply, activate your Handshake account with the Career Center, upload a resume, and apply to the companies in which you are interested. You will be notified through your Handshake account and by email if you are selected for an interview. Once you know you have been selected, you will be prompted to go back into your Handshake account and sign up for an interview time. You may begin applying for on-campus interviews at the beginning of the Fall semester.

SOONER SHOWCASE STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:

If you would like to assist our office as a student volunteer at the fair, please email Kelsey Brown, Kelsey.brown@ou.edu. This is a great opportunity for Freshman/Sophomores who might not want to attend the fair just yet but would like to see what the event is like, while also being able to meet employers! Plus you will receive volunteer hours!
