David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust

I would dress up as Ziggy Stardust every day for the rest of my life if I could. This iconic look is super easy to achieve and great for a last-minute do-it-yourself costume for Halloween.

  1. Use scotch tape to block off the lines for the lightning bolt.

  2. Fill in the lightning bolt outline with an orange cream foundation

  3. Use a turquoise blue on the outside of the orange fill

An artsy alternative to typical Halloween costumes, this look is easy to achieve with just a makeup palette and a makeup brush.

  1. First, use the opposite end of the makeup brush to create the dots. Start at your forehead and press the end of the brush with the pink makeup on to the skin, creating diagonal lines going down your face.

  2. From there, use the black color to underline your cheekbones and your jawline.

  3. Use the black again to outline features on your nose, eyebrows and lips.

  4. Finally, add winged eyeliner and red lips.
