Movie lovers will have the opportunity to see a variety of films at Oklahoma City Museum of Art “Museum Films” lineup, starting Nov. 1.
The museum’s program “Museum Films,” hosts over 400 movie screenings per year and showcases a wide array of genres ranging from international arthouse films, classics, independent films, comedies, documentaries and animations.
Michael Anderson, director of curatorial affairs at the Museum of Art, said many of the films the museum shows are exclusive to the area.
“The film program is close to 20 years old and we might be the only theater to show something in the entire southern part of the U.S.," Anderson said. "That’s what we do.”
Museum Films in November will kick off at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 1. Below is a list of every film the museum will show this month:

Genre: Drama

About the film: The first film in Jacques Becker’s “Youth Trilogy,” “Antoine and Antoinette” tells the story of a working-class married couple whose life is suddenly transformed when they purchase a winning lottery ticket. This classic drama explores the lives of young, unencumbered lovers shot on location in post war Paris — audiences may want to bring tissues for this one.

Tickets to all films in the museum’s November lineup are $7 for college students with a student ID or $9 for the general public, and can be purchased online in advance.
