OU women's gymnastics: Sooners remain undefeated after wins against No. 7 Michigan and No. 23 Iowa State

No. 1 Oklahoma defeated No. 7 Michigan 198.200-197.425 on Saturday and defeated No. 23 Iowa State 197.575-196.275 on Monday night, improving to 16-0 on the season.

Oklahoma performed almost to perfection on Saturday, posting a 198.200, the second-highest score in the country all season.

Senior Brenna Dowell captured the all-around title on Saturday, posting a 9.925 on the vault, bars and beam. She also rounded out her night with a 9.95 on floor.

Oklahoma dominated again Monday night. The Sooners grabbed an early lead and held on tight the rest of the way.

Sophomore Anastasia Webb led the charge for the Sooners on Monday. She captured the all-around title with a score of 39.600. Her highest score of the meet was a 9.975 on beam.

Oklahoma will be back home Friday for senior night against Alabama. The meet will take place at 6:45 p.m. CT.
