OU football: Dimitri Flowers joins Jaguars' practice squad

Former Oklahoma fullback Dimitri Flowers signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad Wednesday.

Flowers was previously signed with the New York Jets as a free agent earlier this year. He was waived by the Jets back in August.

Flowers played as fullback for Oklahoma from 2014-2017, racking up 886 receiving yards along with being tied with Demarco Murray for first place in career receiving touchdowns for a running back with 13. Flowers caught three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown in Oklahoma's 54-48 loss to Georgia in the 2018 Rose Bowl.
