No. 15 Iowa State (6-3, 4-2 Big 12) suffered a 20-16 loss to West Virginia (6-3, 4-2 Big 12) on Saturday. Leading up to the game, Iowa State was tied for first place in the Big 12 alongside Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and TCU.

West Virginia continued to dominate offensively, combining for 524 total yards (316 yards passing and 208 rushing). Iowa State's offense had the chance to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, but the West Virginia defense forced a turnover on downs to cement its win. 

The Cyclones’ second Big 12 loss of the season will drop them in the standings, with the winner of Oklahoma-Oklahoma State taking the first spot. TCU will be tied for first place if they are able to beat Texas, Saturday night.

No. 5 Oklahoma will face West Virginia on Saturday, Nov. 25.
