Oklahoma football: Baker Mayfield breaks Big 12 record for consecutive games with touchdown pass

LAWRENCE, Kansas — Oklahoma senior quarterback Baker Mayfield broke the Big 12 record for consecutive games with a passing touchdown Saturday against Kansas.

Mayfield has now thrown a touchdown pass in 37 straight games, passing former Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell. Mayfield broke the record on a 34-yard pass to sophomore running back Rodney Anderson.

Mayfield has now thrown a touchdown pass in every game during his career at Oklahoma. This season he has thrown for 13,539 yards and 32 touchdowns.
