Ten must-have apps for OU students

New App Helps Navigate Libraries

OU Libraries' first app, NavApp, is a sort of mini library at your fingertips to help navigate around the libraries, making finding what you are looking for easier than ever.

Most incoming freshmen will have one thing when they arrive on campus: a smartphone. Here are a few free apps you should download before arriving in the fall. Each app listed below is available for download on both iPhones and Androids.

This is an all-in-one app perfect for any student. The app can direct you to various OU features including Canvas, financial aid and your email account. In addition, it links you to the OU Free Food Twitter page, which announces where free food can be found on campus. It is also perfect for new students as the app provides a map of campus linked with Google Maps. No need to ask around for directions!

2. OU Innovate App

This app is a must-have for the commuter student. It provides real-time parking availability for the different parking lots on campus. It is also necessary for students wishing to use SafeRide, a free cab service in Norman for OU students Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.

3. SoonerSports2Go
