President David Boren was taken away on a stretcher during former OU coach Bob Stoops' statue dedication on Saturday.
Boren had trouble making it back to his seat after speaking at the dedication and was quickly attended to by paramedics. After speaking with Boren, he was put on a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance.

Boren, 76, is in his final few months as OU president before he officially retires June 30. He underwent a successful heart bypass surgery on March 20, 2017, where he remained in the hospital for a week. Boren also underwent a back surgery for a herniated disk in 2005.
