Norman is the site of the first recorded case of measles in the state of Oklahoma since 2015.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed a case of measles in a person who has returned to Oklahoma after a trip abroad.
According to the department, three locations in Norman could have been exposed to measles during the last 10 days. The department encouraged anyone who visited one of the following locations at any time to call the department:
Norman Pediatrics, 808 Wall St., from 9:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Feb. 2, or from 11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 6.
Chuck E. Cheese's, 2201 Interstate Drive, from 12:45–3:30 p.m. Feb. 3.
Norman Regional HealthPlex, 3300 HealthPlex Parkway, from 12:25–3:30 p.m. Feb. 6.
The last recorded case of the measles in Oklahoma was in 2015.
