Head coach Jennie Barancyzk and four Oklahoma players received Big 12 honors for the 2024 season on Tuesday.

For the first time in her career, Baranczyk was named Big 12 Coach of the Year. OU’s third-year head coach led the Sooners to a regular season conference title with a 15-3 conference record and has coached the Sooners to the NCAA Tournament for the third year in a row.

Freshman forward Skylar Vann took home Big 12 Co-Player of the Year alongside Texas freshman forward Madison Booker. Vann averaged 15 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, both team-highs, and reached 1,000 career points earlier this season against Alabama State on Nov. 15.

Junior guard Payton Verhulst also won Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. Verhulst has averaged 12.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and four assists per game since transferring from Louisville.

Vann, Verhulst, senior guard Nevaeh Tot and freshman forward Sahara Williams received All-Big 12 honors. Both Vann and Verhulst were voted to the first team Big 12, with Vann unanimously selected, while Tot and Williams were given honorable mentions.

Next, No. 19 Oklahoma (21-8, 15-3 Big 12) will face the winner of Oklahoma State vs. TCU in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City on ESPN+.
