Oklahoma women's golf finished fourth at the NCAA Norman Regional on Wednesday, earning a spot in the NCAA Women's Golf Championship for the first time since 2018.

Senior Reagan Chaney led OU, initiating a great display of depth. Chaney started with a bogey-free 68 in the final round at the par-72 track to finish tied for fifth.

"I'm so proud of Reagan and happy for her because of all the work she's put in," head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said in an OU Athletic Communications press release. "To have it finally pay off at home in front of friends and family at an NCAA Regional, it's just unbelievable. She works harder than so many people and was phenomenal this week. For her to be a senior and finish it off like she did is pretty impressive."

Junior MaKayla Tyrrell (11) followed with her sixth career top-20 ranking off a final-round 69 after sinking a birdie on the second-to-last hole. Junior Savannah Barber then recorded a birdie on 18 to tie for 23 before freshman Audrey Rischer (32) and junior Gracie Mayo (41) closed out the lineup with top-50 positions.

Next, OU will play in the championship on May 16-21 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. on NBC Sports' Golf Channel.

"It feels great to get through. It's obviously been a long time coming," Drouin-Luttrell said in an OU Athletic Communications press release. "We've had some awesome teams since we last made it, but this year's team is just special."
