Update (10:07 a.m.): Dede Westbrook officially ran a 4.34 40-yard dash, according to OU Athletics.

Once again, Dede Westbrook showed off just how fast he really is with 4.40 40-yard time at Oklahoma's Pro Day Wednesday morning.

Westbrook, a Biletnikoff winner and Heisman Trophy finalist his final season at Oklahoma, decided to skip the on-field workouts at the NFL combine over the weekend and instead wait to showcase his speed inside the Sooners' practice facility.

Westbrook's time would have been tied with Tennessee's Josh Malone for the third-fastest at the combine behind Washington's John Ross (4.22) and Ohio State's Curtis Samuel (4.31).

Last season, Westbrook hauled in 1,524 yards receiving (on 19.1 yards-per-catch) and a school-record 17 touchdowns.

The NFL Draft will take place April 27-29. Matt Miller's latest mock draft has Westbrook being taken in the sixth round.
