OU’s University Club will allow all university community members to dine at the formerly exclusive restaurant on campus by spring 2019.

The Jan Marie and Richard J. Crawford University Club, located on the second floor of the Oklahoma Memorial Union, will offer access to all students, staff and faculty spring.

In an OU Info statement sent out via email sent out to the OU community, the university announced that anyone with a university identification card will be able to pay with cash or credit, and students with meal plans points will be able to redeem them at University Club.

Dishes prepared by the University Club chefs became available on Tapingo in September, allowing anyone to order food on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The University Club will be closed for lunch now until Jan. 22. 2019 to prepare for the transition and will reopen its doors with a revised menu to offer less-expensive meal options to the community.

University Club previously only served graduate students, faculty members, staff members and OU community members who purchased memberships at the club.
