Police respond to an officer-involved shooting near Main Street and Berry Road.

Update 12:37 p.m.: Norman Police Department's Public Safety Information Officer, Sarah Jensen, said that the victim involved in the shooting was an adult male and has now been transported to OU Medical Center.

An officer-involved shooting has occurred near the intersection of Main Street and Berry Road in Norman, according to Norman Police Department public safety information officer Sarah Jensen. 

The Spirit Shop tweeted a warning to stay away from downtown Norman.

The liquor store, located at 109 S. Berry Road, then tweeted that the shooter was in custody.

The parking lot where Habitat for Humanity is located is being blocked off by police.
