PHOTOS: Helpful steps on how to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Oklahoma
STEP 1
Go to vaccinate.oklahoma.gov to begin the registration process.
STEP 2
Scroll down on the vaccinate.oklahoma.gov website to the COVID-19 questionnaire button to start the process.
STEP 3
Select "yes" on all questions that apply, especially that you are a student in Oklahoma (this is what qualifies you as an Oklahoma resident).
STEP 4
Check your email that was selected during registration for a link from OSDH, this includes the link for appointment scheduling. Schedule your appointment!
STEP 5
Drive to the selected location for your vaccine appointment. Be aware that your appointment my not be in Norman. Bring a government ID and your student ID.
STEP 6
Arrive at the vaccination center. There should be staff directing where to park and check in.
STEP 7
Check into your appointment location with your government issued ID and potentially student ID — they may ask for it.
STEP 8
Get vaccinated! Relax, it should just take a second.
STEP 9
Expect to stay fifteen minutes after the vaccination. This is to be sure there are no severe allergic reactions.
STEP 10
Take a celebratory vaccine card selfie! Be sure to hold onto the card, as you will need it for the second appointment if you received the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.
